Seavus and SEDC support European BEST engineering competition

Seavus and SEDC for the second time will sponsors and support this year’s IT competition for the European BEST engineering event. The competition will start from 25-th to 27-th of February at FINKI University in Skopje, Macedonia.
The first day of the event students, university professors and company representatives will take part in sessions and discuss today’s IT trends and technologies. The competition is reserved for the next two days, where young students working in teams will have a chance to demonstrate their engineering skills in two categories: Team Design and Case Study.
Seavus and SEDC will give the biggest support in acquiring all of the necessary materials for the Team Design category that will happen on the last day of the competition. In this category, six teams comprised from 4 students each will have a task to design and develop a model of air flow detector circuit.
The testing process will be supervised by Seavus experienced embedded developer Gjorgji Petkovski, who will hold a presentation at the beginning of this contest. He will also give directions for the contest criteria and will have an advisory and role of jury.
At the end of the contest, each of the members of the winning team will receive vouchers for SEDC courses and a gift from Seavus. All other competitors will also get vouchers for SEDC courses. The winning model, as well as the models from the other teams, will be used as lecture examples for students at the Academy.
The best team of the national competition will continue to regional competition in Sofia, Bulgaria and from where they will have the chance to enter the final European competition held in Warsaw, Poland.
At the event Seavus and SEDC representatives will have promotional banners and brochures and a pult to inform participants about the two organizations.
